Swiss German University (SGU) is a government and privately sponsored university for the ASEAN region.

Faculties:

– Engineering

– Information Technology

– Business Administration and Humanities

– Life Sciences

Now, SGU requires high motivated candidates to fulfill this position.

LIBRARIAN STAFF

Main Job:
Digital initiatives, database management, library portal, website content.

Job Descriptions:

  1. Initiate and maintain digital resources from university local content.
  2. Maintain library database: reports, global updating, etc.
  3. Updates library’s content in the university’s website.
  4. Maintains and promote new library resources periodically, e.g., books, journals, and other formats through email and social media.
  5. Provides statistical reports on a biannually basis.
  6. Supports library’s daily activities.
  7. Perform other dutiesas assigned.

Requirement:

  1. Bachelor Degree in Library and Information Science, fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  2. Good knowledge in digital library, library software, and Internet resources.
  3. Knowledge of computer hardware and peripherals preferred.
  4. Fluent in English both oral and written.

Skills and Abilities to:

  1. Communicate effectively.
  2. Handle multiple task and projects.
  3. Work in a team-based and cooperative environment.
  4. Assess priorities due to time management and workwell under pressure.
